Welcome to The Give Me Back My Wig Street Team! If you're a fan of the band, over 18 years old and willing to help promote Give Me Back My Wig in your area, then we're looking for you!

Are you a hardcore music fan who wants to do more than just hang out at shows? BECOME A MEMBER of the WIG's STREET TEAM!! By signing up, you'll be joining an ever-growing group of WIG's fans in promoting the band's CD's and concerts, telling the world what we already know: WIG makes music that NEEDS to be heard!! As members of the promotional team, you will hang posters and hand out flyers at concerts and record stores, help sell WIG merchandise at shows, do internet/Myspace promotion, and much more. In return for your help, you may receive special WIG gift items such as signed memorabilia, free tickets to WIG shows when available. Most of all, WIG will be ever-grateful; and OH the things they're willing to do when they're "feeling grateful!"

1.0 What is a street team?

A street team is a group of fans working together to promote the band (Give Me Back My Wig) in their area. The street team is an exclusive group of fans from all over the world who want to help promote the WIG band. Team members are part of WIG's organization - a family of devoted fans.

1.1 What does this street team do?

The Give Me Back My Wig Street Team is based in a international forum and works both together as a whole and in local groups on several kinds of promotionals. The following are some examples.

Requesting songs/videos on your local radio-/tv-stations by phone/internet.

Voting for Give Me Back My Wig and/or their songs/videos on internet-polls/-charts.

Spreading stickers/flyers to advertise the band among potential fans.

Advertising Give Me Back My Wig and/or their songs/videos on websites such as MySpace.

Requesting articles about the band in your local magazines by internet/post.

Checking the availability of Give Me Back My Wig releases at your local record stores.

Requesting appearances of the band on your local tv-shows by internet/post.

Of course the team members discuss these promotional activities within the team, so next to working with the band you might just make some (more) friends among your fellow-fans as well!

2.0 How to join the team?

As requested by Give Me Back My Wig management, there are a few requirements you have to meet in order to join, just so we know you'll make a good street teamer.

Please note: if you become a member of this street team, it DOES NOT mean that you will become a band member but rather you do become a member of exclusive group of fans

Give Me Back My Wig management has requested that all the street team members respect the privacy of the band and behave professionally and in a mature manner. The street team administration has the right to reject applications and remove street team members from the team without prior notification if they are not acting in a way that is good for the band. This means that any behaviour that would impair the functioning of the team as a whole may be reason for exclusion from the street team.

3.0 Rules!

Firstly, you need to be a member of the Give Me Back My Wig mailing list.

Age 18 or older

You have to be at least 18 years old to join.

Love the band!

4.0 What is in it for you?

Apart from helping promote Give Me Back My Wig?

Being a member of the street team DOES NOT mean that you get free tickets to every show or get to meet the band at every show. What it does mean is that if they get better known in your area, then they're likely to have more media appearances; and if venues and concert organisers sense a demand, they're more likely to try and book Give Me Back My Wig for concerts! You may not get special/free tickets for such events based on your street team membership then though. With your promotion you could also earn some great Give Me Back My Wig goodies every now and then, for instance via Street Team competitions!

To help with promotion, you could receive a free WIG Street Team T-Shirt, stickers and/or flyers, but the team is still in the organising stage when it comes to that now!

5.0 How to send in your application?
