Joe Campbell

Joe Campbell has been a sideman playing guitar for many classic rock groups for over 35 years with such groups as The Drifters, The Platters, The Dixie Cups, The Tokens,The Coasters,Johnny Thunder,Doug Kershaw,Cheryl Ladd,Dennis Weaver,The Diamonds,The Fortunes,Tommy Sands and Wilson Pickett to name a few. His recording credits include commercials for Pepsi, Motel 6, McDonalds,Holiday Inn and many more. Joe worked with country music singer Johnny Lee (Looking For Love In All The Wrong Places) “Urban Cowboy”, from 1991 to 1995 along with the Western Union Band. In 1994, Joe won The California Country Music Association (CCMA), “Country Guitarist Of The Year” award for the Orange County Chapter and for the State of California.In recent years Joe has performed at Disneyland and Universal Studios in various venues at those theme parks as well as holding down steady gigs in Las Vegas for almost 4 years from 1998 to 2002.Currently Joe is performing casuals,clubs ,casinos,fairs and special events in the Southern California area along with all the studio work he is involved with these days.By the way (on Joe's myspace page) that is Joe's son Bryan playing the bass tracks on the song"Still Got The Blues"while he was here visiting in California.Thanks for the hard work Bryan!
